View Full Version : Sunrise silhouette

I've been playing around with silhouettes at sunrise or sunset, mainly of buildings.
I posted a quickly worked version of this in the Travel & Landscapes forum.
This shot was taken from the same spot but at a different time.
I spent a little more time working on this one.

Any suggestions on how to improve this shot, or on this type of photography in general, are welcome.

Very nice, Cameron. I really like it. I have tried that (building silhouettes at sunset) and really like what you got there. Good work.

Neatly done, i would have liked to capture this a few moments earlier. in that case the sky would look more dynamic.

Sorry, David you're right, I should have included that info.

It's Eglinton Castle, or at least the remains of the castle, after it was used for target practice by the British Army during World War II.
It's located in Kilwinning on the west coast of Scotland, not far from Royal Troon ( for all you keen golfers out there).
