i was thinking of ordering a battery from sterlingtek, but before I do, does anyone know if it will PROPERLY charge in my CANON battery charger.

when i say properly i mean no harm to the battery even though it is of a different capacity and also will the status LED (red / green) light up accordingly?

thanks!

I got my 3rd party XT batteries from SterlingTek and they charge and work just fine. They seem to last as long or longer than the Canon battery. The charger lights up green (and red) just like the stock ones.
