The moment has finally come! But there's one aggravating problem. When you click on the link to download it, it brings you to a forum thread with people talking about the files being attached to their posts but I can't see the attached files they're talking about. Can someone fill me in on how to actually download it? I am chomping at the bit at this point. Thanks.

Well I figured it out. You have to sign up for an account and be logged in to see the files and download 'em.

Here's where to go to read all about CHDK:
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_for_Dummies
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#Next_Step:_Downloads
And here's some additional help, a video presentation, on installing it:
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_For_...How_To_Install (http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/CHDK_For_Newbies_-_How_To_Install)
Once you have downloaded it and taken some pictures and then want to open up the recaptured RAW files on your computer, then go back to the second URL above and scroll down the FAQ until you get to:
Q. I've shot some RAW pictures. How do I process them?
Read that section carefully to see which program will best work with the SX 110. I believe that "Picasa 3" will let you open up CHDK RAW files without the need of any software, but in Picasa you can't do much as much with the opened files as you can with "Lightroom," for example.

Thanks. I've already been using CHDK but when I first saw that forum there were posts with people talking about the beta files being attached to their posts in the forum. The problem was that I couldn't see what attachments everyone was talking about. Then I realized you have to sign up and login to the forums to see the attached files, otherwise you can't download 'em.

Hi, I'm also trying to open/convert the crw files from my SX110IS taken using CHDK.
I have tried Raw Therapee, but when I browse to the folder where the files are stored, nothing is displayed. I have made sure RT is set to display .crw files.
I then checked the RT website for compatible cameras and found this:
Supported Cameras:
Adobe Digital Negative (DNG)
Canon PowerShot G3, G5, G6, G7, G9, G10, SD300, S30, S40, S45, S50, S60, S70, Pro1, S2 IS, S3 IS, S5 IS, A460, A530, A610, A620, A630, A640, A650, A710 IS, A720 IS
Canon EOS D30, D60, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, 50D, 5D, 5D Mark II, 300D (Digital Rebel), 350D (Digital Rebel XT), 400D (Digital Rebel XTi), 450D (Digital Rebel XSi), 1000D (Digital Rebel XS), 1D, 1Ds, 1D Mark II, 1D Mark III, 1D Mark II N, 1Ds Mark II, 1Ds Mark III
So it looks like we have to wait until someone supports the raw files from the SX110IS
I have also tried DNG4PS2 and the UFRAW plugin for GIMP, with no success yet.

My SD 900 and SD990 are also not listed but I still use Raw Therapee. I just open the folder in windows explorer and right click (open with Raw Therapee) the file I want to edit. It opens and can be edited. Color is a bit cool to start but all works fine.
Due to still being CHDK beta on both cams I have to use CHDK raw .crw on the 900 and I am able to use .DNG on the 990
