Jessika,
Bridal shoots are when the bride gets all dressed up in veil, dress, hair - and your do a shoot in her full outfit. Some photographers offer it in a package. I remember my cousin did a bridal shoot but that was a long time ago. It is really up to the bride. I see more brides leaning towards the trash the dress session instead.

Jessika, just like lasphoto said. Bridal shoots are just that, shooting the bride in her outfit mostly in an outdoor seetting without the real wedding atmostphere. More like magazine style. Many people like to do these to build up the porfolio.

Trash the Dress sessions normally take place sometime after the wedding, for obvious reasons. Bridal sessions are shot prior to the wedding, but after engagement photos. Any of the various sessions can be skipped, or some brides take all of them (not that I'm all that experienced, but still).
