Need help...team manager called tonight. Wants a team collage to give to the coaches on Sunday. I've been working on it for the past 3 hours, need sleep, long day at work planned for tomorrow!!

I'll have to finish it tomorrow after work to have printed and framed on Saturday. Tomorrow's Friday, TGIF on the go!!

Is there a way I can select all the layers I created with each of the players photos and do a master drop shadow and emboss on them all with one shot. I've done three of them so far, individually and every minute counts right now. The finishing touch will be adding their name and number under each photo as well as some other text under the team photo. Just looking for a tip to speed up the shadow and emboss process, if it exists in Photoshop.

One way I can think of applying similar styles to multiple layers at once is to make all the layers invisible except for the ones you want to work on. You can then "Merge Visible" which will combine them into one layer. You can then apply the layer style to that layer. Since this is going to be destructive, I would first put all these layers into a layer set and then make a duplicate of the layer set. You can then "hide" the one layer set as a backup and merge the layers in the duplicate layer set with the "Merge Layer Set" command.

It sure would be nice to be able to select all the layers that you want to apply the styles to but I haven't found a way to do it. Maybe someone more PS knowledgeable can chime in.

Right click on the layer that's completed and click Copy Layer Style.
Right click on each of the layers and click on Paste Layer Style.

That should speed things up.

You can write an action and then click on each layer and run the action. That is my favorite way.

Chazs...beers on me. Thank you. I just gave it a try before heading off to work. That'll sure speed things up. Right click did not work for me but it's available under the layer menu. Thanks and thanks again!!

I must say... not enough emphasis on how nice that looks!!!!
Great job! I really like that effect. Did you see that somewhere before or come up with it yourself?

I haven't seen anything like this done digitally. I think back to high school and similar photo layouts were placed in massive frames and hung with pride on the walls of the school. That was 30 years ago!! I guess when the team manager called looking for a photo gift to give the coaches I may have had a flash back to 1975!! Them were the days!!
