Before the last snow goes away I need to sneak this one in from last January. I think this is the best shot of all the sledding ones that I did. How can I describe to you the sound his body made as the air was heaved out of his body and he was left . . . gasping and trying oh, so hard for that breath of life. To come back to him. ;)

That is an excellent shot! Oh, how I know the pain he's about to feel - or felt.

I think it's called 'getting air'. Followed immediately by losing wind...Interesting shot.

No PS trickery at all other than a resize and compress for the web. I shot this in AI Servo mode, I had to test it when the camera was new. Ask Bob my PS skill . . . well they stink. But I am trying and learning as I go.
Glad you all did not boo and hiss at a late winter shot, lol.
My kind regards as always.
Edit: Plus when a nice camera comes out . . . people start doing the dumbest things for you. Like they are driven to provide you with shots. These guys even lined up over this jump to out do each other, in mayhem.

Don't have to tell me the sounds he made, I know first hand, did something similar on a toboggan in my not so bright youth. 5 of us on the sled hit a bump and went airborne at least 10' up needless to say none of us stayed on the toboggan, guess what snow ain't soft.   Great shot Rod.

LOL, we have printed a few on small cards . . . and given them to friends and those whom have felt they have had it rough. This young man is an athlete for sure. Oh to be young again. Snow does funny things to folks . . .
Glad this one that almost got lost has had such a fun life here. See we miss the snow!
Thanks again.
