This is my first proper post on here, having picked up a 70-200 f4 a couple of weeks back after making do with nothing but my kit lens for a very long time.

I love the Mark 1 Escort I built one for Road Rallies in my early 20's and now I am a bit older I long for owning one again :)

They're fantastic cars, but not cheap these days. I guess too many people are crashing them (better that than leave them in a garage though).

Some nice shots but you need to take a look at your colour balance. There's a bit of a reddish tinge to the tarmac at Thruxton, true, but it is nowhere near as pink as it is shown in your photos.

Thanks for the pointer. I took almost all of the shots with the 'Cloudy' WB setting and noticed that it was a bit off when I transferred them to the PC. I did tweak some of the images (example (http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3321/3435741918_8784b7c6e6_o.jpg)) but in retrospect should've applied the modified settings en masse. You live and learn I suppose. :)

Nice pics! I really like the Toyota Starlet and the Camaro w/ the proper N.A. (looks like Ontario) plate on it. The sliding Sierra is nice as well.

Thanks. The starlet was definitely one of the more photogenic cars out there - being bright orange didn't hurt.

Some fantastic shots there, brilliant quality.

I was driving the Mitsubishi Starion (No.3 - no eye stickers on headlights) and the black Triumph Dolomite Sprint No.49.

Do you possibly have any more pics if these 2 ?


We pay for 'professional' photos at the circuit and yours are ten times better than some we are offered !
