has anyone heard of this lens? i am need of a super wide lens that doesn't cost a lot of money. and from what i have read, it's well worth the money. so my question is if anyone has ever heard of this or if anyone can tell me more about this brand. thanks.

Fred Miranda, nothing. Check out Drisley (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=67063) from right here. He's, to put it mildly, somewhat impressed.

:lol:

Yeah, I am very impressed with this lens, especially considering the cost.

I had it for a short time, enjoyed it immensely, very neat effects, only sold it to fund a 16-35L but unfortuantely that didn't pan out as well :( so now I'm looking again, maybe the 17-40L but here is a quick grab shot taken of my wife's nephew's small family;

Was quite close to them, my back was against the wall, the curtains in the little nook were pink which added to some colour problems but the lens is cool. And so ROBUST!
