I was out for a hike yesterday after work and as I was walking along I saw a tree with a branch moving. Now the tree was about 150yds away so I pulled out the 100-400L and found this.

I know that these aren't the greatest quality, mostly due to the distance from subject. Man, these are the times I could really use a TC!! I would have like to try and get closer, but it was a restricted habitat. Oh well, at least I got these.

Oh Yeah, its a bobcat!

I suppose that all cats are climbers, but I have never, ever seen a bobcat climbing in a tree.

I have another pic that appears he/she is looking right at me, I'll have to put that one up too. I'm sure if anything else I could at least be heard!

I too had never seen a cat perched in a tree like that. He/she was up there for atleast an hour or more, by the time I had ended my walk the cat was not to be seen.

Thanks LP, It's the first time I've run accross a bobcat with my camera, so I was happy to see it. Sent you PM on the location.
