Could someone tell me if both/either the xt and/or 20D allow automatic image display after each shot?
Also, re. reviewing shots, can both cameras be set to allow repeated maximum magnification as a series of images are brought up? When I handled an xt at the camera store, it seemed I had to give about 10 button clicks to get to full magnification and then repeat the process for each new frame I reviewed. The fellow behind the counter knew less about the camera than I did.
Are the xt and 20D the same or different in how this function is handled?
Thanks!

I don't know about the xt because I don't have one, and haven't touched one, but with the 20D you can review your images after a photo. It's automatic.
You can also zoom in on a photo, and when you scroll the control wheel, the next images will also be zoomed.

The XT playsback the images instantly. You're right though that the image must be in its original thumbnail size before you can move to the next one.........as opposed to the 20D where you can browse through your images with the image zoomed in.

I have an XT (350D here in Europe). If you zoom in then use the "Main Dial" wheel it will move backwards and forwards thru your images, keeping the level of zoom you have set.
I only got the camera on Tuesday but I'm very impressed :)

Have you guys found the movement within a zoomed picture in playback mode is slow on the XT? I remember on my Powershot G3, I can scroll around the picture quickly and easily, whereas the XT seems to take its time.

YES!!! The G3 (even the elph) is considerably faster than the XT when zooming in/out and left/right.........probably has to do with the larger files and etc....
