Flash/Trigger Questions :D

Heey guys :)

Just wondering what you think would be a 'smarter' Idea,

Would you reccomend I get one Canon 430EXII Or a bunch of Cheapo Ebay flashes?

I can trigger either option by some triggers aswell,

Also, anyone have those cheap as ebay triggers?

I know you will say to get cybersyncs or Pocket wizards,

The pocket wizards are about $600AUD here!!

Also

Is it possible to fire the camera with on trigger, I.e use it as a remote?

im kinda in the same position and from my little research the ebay triggers are not the way to go, they misfire and most people end up just buying a better set. Ive emailed the team at Alien Bees for a quote on a Transmitter and Reciver and its gonna cost me $183 US dollars for the two, but ive just emailed them to ask for an extra two recivers so i dont have to bother getting them again when i expand my lighting setup...
