Just a few quick shots of this dual bracket I made. Nothing special, definitely have seen some nicer ones, but this works for me. In my quest for more light power, this will hold me off until I get the ab's...talk about down the road!

I figure two flashes at 1/2 power would equal 1 flash at full power...plus their on 1 light stand so I can use 1 umbrella. Two flashes at full power hopefully would be twice the power as one, This way I should be able to have faster recycle time and longer battery life by turning flash power down (if i don't need it).

Haven't gotten out and used it much, but so far so good...and the best part, only cost me $1.79 and some time :)

Great idea! I'm no expert by any means, but would it the light output be affected since the strobes are not pointing to the middle of the umbrella? I'm thinking it would probably be negligible, but something to think about.

Thanks for sharing, and post some sample shots!

they are literally side by side once mounted. I'll have to do some test shots of 1/1 -vs- two 1/2's
