this was shot with 85 @ 1.2 on 5d2. Dof is ok, b/c I have cropped the image. was just standing against our living room wall. source of light was window with the curtain drawn, which diffused the light well. I did some selective vignetting to give it that spot light look. hope you like it. It printer very nicely. I think I may need to just darken the shoulder a little. let me know what you thing.

It's a nice shot but I think either the vignetting is too much or the left side of the photo (specifically the right side of her face) needs to be brighter as it makes it seem.. flat to me, almost. I can't describe it exactly. Good job though.

I agree with the Moose... I'd like the right side of her face to have a little more light on it... perhaps you can brighten is slightly... Nice shot though--very cute kid.

Very nice shot, adorable child! I do agree that I would like to see a little more light on the right side of the face as well, but that is about all.

thanks guys. I will try that in photoshop. I am not sure how more light on right side of face would make it less flat, I would think it makes it more flat. but thanks.
