Better you than me, Mike -- youth is wonderful :). Last season when I shot that many games in 7 days here I was exhausted to the point that I never recovered the rest of the season. Mind you that was in late June when temperature and humidity were in the 90s and more than half were day games. Last night I left the ballpark when I saw that dark rain cloud coming in off the Atlantic -- I was already cold and didn't want to get wet too! Glad you included Jackie Robinson Ballpark, "the Jack" to fans here, in your itinerary and that we met on the field again last night.

Good stuff Mike. How far behind are you in culling the shots? I'm outta here in a little bit, going to shoot a Midwest League game. Kane County Cougars and Cedar Rapids Kernels.

No, it was just before our trip -- that's why my rudder was dragging ;).

Yea, even the change from FL to GA is a hit and why I'm glad I went - it's cold here and didn't feel that at all while in FL. OH/NY/PA area right now is probably freeeezzing!

Short long haul, only 9 days. Last baseball season I had a total of two days off, however early in the season many of those days were coaching the game instead of shooting it.

I stick to the minors for a reason ;) This is high-A ball, tonight was AA - tomorrow is low-A, and Sunday back to AA...if I make it that is.

Good seeing you again as well Jerry. I had a similar experience last year but it was something like 31 games in 33 days in 5 states and 2 countries that whipped my a$$ that never fully recovered from. I left soon after you did, it started to sprinkle so I got Tyler's second at bat and headed for the door after talking with Scott for a bit. Did make me think about that move heavily though :)

The only game not culled yet is tonight, the rest I have at least that done but only one team sorted and tagged. It's going to take awhile but will get it done the week I get home - hopefully, though I have a lot of shooting to do up there as well as coaching.

Pshhhh...you should see what I do in Spring Training (that I skipped this year) - shooting by 9:30am and ending around 9pm every day. As I was told a couple days ago, if you're on the road you might as well WORK! Short time to get it so needs to be done.

Look like someone had a great time, i wish i could have joined you. It must of been awesome. Some amazing shot congrats
Loving FL and been thinking of making the move for awhile, see what happens. Actually just wish I got a few more games, I went to some locations finding nothing going on when I thought there would be extended Spring Training going on.

I was going to shoot the Tennessee Smokies vs Birmingham Barons on Sunday but it has an 80% chance of thunderstorms that day, and since it's a long ways out of the way I'm just going to bag these last two games and head home instead...to make up for it I'm planning on making a Southern League trip in June, well at least hoping to.

I shot the first couple innings of the Smokies @ Suns game on Sat April 11 and most from the third base pit. I think their team photographer was there too -- he's a lot taller and a bit younger than me. If you saw an old guy with short gray facial hair shooting with a 300 at the game that was me. I shot all of Sunday and Monday's games too -- I shoot a lot of day games at the Baseball Grounds in Jacksonville but probably won't be back up there for a few weeks.

Mike, I'm truly jealous (maybe not, after reading some of the comments from others!) you got to pull off this trip. Excellent work as always - especially the captions

What's with the image of Kenny on your home page? Ha, I haven't talked to him in a few years - really need to get them back here.

I do these trips often, if I wasn't coaching high school ball I'd be spending a lot more time on the road and am probably in my last season of doing it so next year will be a lot more (hopefully).

Yea, been shooting more from the stands for the cleaner backgrounds and different angles - gotta love day games when you have time to move, night games at this time of year you're done quick.
