Running Windows Vista. No other problems with laptop.

I installed software from Canon Solutions Disk V.45.0.

When I connect the camera to laptop the computer says it is installing the driver howevere then a message comes up saying the driver installation has failed so I can not connect my camera to my laptop at all.

I have tried using another computer and it works no problems. Once the camera is connected and switched on the driver is installed.

So there is nothing wrong with the disc or camera it must be something that is preventing the laptop installing the driver from the programme folder.

I can't work out what is wrong and totally frustrated.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

32-bit or 64-bit Vista?

Hi,

Both the laptops are 32 bit Vista. As I said it seems no problem with one and just wont load the driver on the other.

Can't see why not.
