Does anyone have this backpack? http://www.rotation360.com/
It seems like quite an innovative idea. What do you think of it?
I was wondering how to access my long lens from the pack without taking it off. This seems like it would work, and from a high end company.

You can add Lens Changer 75 Pop Down to Rotation 360's belt. When you done shooting, you can fasten it to size of the bag for transportion.

But isn't that putting a lot of weight on the belt rather than in the movable waistpack? I assume you cannot stand a 100-400 vertically in the waistpack? What about on its side?

Rotation's belt is well made. It can handle 100-400. If you put it on the side, you have to take off the backpack. I used to mount the lens changer on the side, then when I got to the location, I will move lens changer to the waist belt. I worked out fine. Major problem was Rotation's weight. Once's it's loaded fully, it will get to 25lbs and over.

I use a Digital Holster 20 on the waistpack and then can have my camera body with either a 70-200 or a 400mm lens available. It actually works really well for long hikes, because the backpack supports the weight, yet, I can get to the setup without having to set anything down.

Went out and bought the bag at Adorama. Holds everything I had in my previous bag with some small amount of room left over. I love the ability to get to stuff without taking the bag off. I'm think the ability to access the back while wearing it is worth any extra money. I found that when I traveled with my old backpack, I would use it to store gear during travel and rarely take it around the city with me. This one will go everywhere. Really brilliant engineering, no other company makes a pack like this.
Thanks for the input.

So after nearly a month what do you think of your bag?
Had mine almost a year now and I still highly regard it! :)

Ironically, there's another thread here about the 360. I posted there, but will just tell you that I find it to be great! Perfect access to my 100-400 and a Speedlite in the lower waist pack, and while it weighs a pound more than one of my other backpacks, the large waistbelt makes it easy on the shoulders. I don't notice the weight more than any other pack, maybe less because of the wide belt.
It holds all my gear now, and has room in the upper pack for two more lenses when I get them.
It's proved itself to be what I had hoped it would be.
Cool scarf avatar, BTW.
