Experimenting with compositions today and ended up with 2 keepers. IMO!

Hi Scott - I'm not sure about #1.... it actually looks like two separate photos; related but separate. The second is better, but perhaps with a little too much negative space around the stalk. Maybe crop it vertically by about 1/4, and then make it narrower by about 1/3. I think that would enhance the look, IMO. - Stu

Hey Stu I like the repeating shape (OOF) and I think the lines pull it all together and I actually like the light, dark thing..

Like the light/dark inverted pattern in the first! I know you probably have a standard frame, but I find myself wondering what it would look like if the frame wasn't so dark, to increase the separation of the frame to the image.
