I know I should know the answer to this but, can anyone please tell me with this EXIF why I don't have more DOF & why the pix aren't sharper? Caution, one pic is + 500KB the other + 700KB. Thanks. Gil

You may try aperture F8 and get more DOF, or stay away from the focus object. The farther you stay away from the focus point or the smaller the aperture (the bigger the value), the more DOF you get.

By the way, the sharpness or clearness is limited by the resolution and color control. You can use USM in PS to get sharper effect.
