I stopped at Manzanar while on a road trip a couple of years ago.. just re-discovered the photos on my HD and converted these to B&W as it matched the somberness of the location. C&C welcome.

Thank you, garibaldi! It's such a stark landscape out there now. While the camp was inhabited, the grounds were actually pretty lush, even had some orchards and water gardens, but in later years after the camp was closed, the water rights were sold and rerouted to Los Angeles, so everything dried up.
Yes, it was extremely hot that day while I was walking around the grounds!
