This is a quick shot of the flowers I got my wife for Easter. Taken with natural light, as they were sitting next to a window, with the last of the sunlight streaming in. C&C welcome.

ISO 100, 1/250th sec, f/5.6 @ 55mm

I like the sharpness lighting and composition of this!

Nice photo. The focal length choice gives a good natural perspective of the pot of flowers sitting there under the window sill.
For me, the image lacks a certain "oomph" that might be achieved by adjusting the levels in photoshop. Only very slightly though because the exposure is perfect and the soft lighting look is well achieved.

Yep, the ever-so-slight underexposure produced a very subtle image. Nicely done.

Thanks. Yeah, the lighting was really nice and I'm always pleasantly surprised by the sharpness of the kit lens.
