Could someone please explain to a relative newbie a few things about PS7 Actions?
For example:

i What is the difference between the red and the black checks (ticks) in the left column?

ii What is the difference between the red and the black icons in the second column?

iii Is there a tutorial that would help me to understand the workings and application of the Linear Sharpen 342 Action?

Regards and thanks

By unchecking an item, you exclude that item when the action is executed. The check mark of the parent action changes to red to indicate that one or more of its items are currently excluded.

The black icon indicates modal control (the action is stopped to enable the user to set values). The red icon is used to mark actions and sets that contain modal control items.
