Great photo shop job! Impressive. I like it. I'm waiting for the day that it falls on people and causes a masacre. Bound to see it on the news soon or a later...........

This is a problem that have been debated for hours in the Pise's town council. They wante to raise a special tax to moint the tour on a hydraulic mecanism which would be able to make the tour leaning in the direction you want. This will allow people to have a leaning tower whaterver the point they shoot at it.
Unfortunately, the tax was not voted.

When I went there a couple of years ago, they were in the process of straightening it a little with a complicated series of lead weights (a lot of them!) and drills into the ground. It had leaned to a dangerous level and they were straightening it enough to be safe and yet retaining its lean!
