Well here goes. :)
Both were taken with my 10D (now got 20D)
The first is a local falls I found last spring. A beautiful spot at 5.00AM. Just me and the birds (feathered) and the scent of the bluebells.
The second is again local and again a lovely spot early in the AM. This was taken at 5.00AM. I was hoping to catch the sun rising over the adjacent hills, but by the time I arrived at 4.25AM I was too late!!:)
I hope you enjoy them and would appreciate any comments

Thank you both for your kind comments :) John - the waterfall is Big Burn, (or as friends of ours thought when they misread the signpost, Big Bum!!:D :D ) near Golspie on the North East coast about 60 miles north of Inverness and the second is Glen Loth about 20 miles north of where I live, and some 80 miles north of Inverness.
Regards

Hi John
So much scenery up here its hard to know where to go next! But, am taking a week in the Applecross area soon - Can't be called a man up here until you've driven over the Pass of the Cattle!
And yes, you're right, the weather could be better!:) :)

Great shots for your first offerings, Trevor.
I particularly like the water fall.
Looking forward to seeing some shots from the Applecross region.
I was there a few years ago and the scenery is just beautiful.
I remember the Pass of the Cattle too. ( Bealach Na Ba )
I'm hoping to spend a few days up north this summer, haven't decided where yet.
Last time we went north it was to the Black Isle to watch the dolphins off Chanonry Point.:)

Both are great but I really like the first the way the first, the way the greens look and the nice effect from the slow shutter speed.
