View Full Version : MY00 WRX - Any Feedback Appreciated

New to the world of photography. Currently using a Cannon 300D I bought off ebay. I would like to get better so feedback would be appreciated. I love taking pics of cars so I thought I would start with my MY00 WRX.

Well first off welcome to POTN and welcome to the transportation forum :)

These are a pretty good start.

Pic 1: I'd like to see the car further from the background since they are simular in color to try to seperate it from the backdrop.

pic 2: On my laptop screen (which isn't the most accurate) the car looks a little overexposed. Also, while I love shooting from low angles, especially at cars, it almost feels like we are starting to look under the car. So maybe a slightly higher angle would do better.

pic 3: I like the exposue, but wish the background was solid so there wasn't a distracting stripe coming down to the hood of the car. That angle with the background of pic 1 would be nice.

Pic 4: I'm know you're aware of this, but the front bumper is clipped a little which is sort of off putting in a car shoot. Usually people will leave extra space at the front so the car "moves in to the frame". However, I like the composition with the Suburu sign in the back.

I like the pics, just trying to give you helpful critiques to apply in the future.

One last thing. Many of us number our pics when we post so it's easier to comment :)
