do you still have the original? What do you use to convert?

yes I do, saved on a flash card somewhere in my laptop bag (: I use pse2, which is ancient and doesnt have alot of the good tools Id usually use, but I need to upgrade soon

I am really picky about black and whites.. I would just start over (if you can find it) and play. Im sure your style has changed a little...so do a couple of versions. She might like one of them better.

I would continue on the path of fairly high contrast..since the ultrasound pic is..but thats just me. Can you get in and lighten and darken in the exact areas you want? That would fix the problems with the hands...I just don't know what all your program can do.

Yes I can do it in layers and masks, pse2 does alot, its just takes more time and work to achieve what the newer photoshop programs do in a flash, I will play and repost in the morn... thanks again:D
