Larry the Wine Guy

Somehow the photos of men in this forum don't seem to rate as high as the beautiful models (for good reason).....but for a totally nice fellow, try Larry. Taken last summer at Cline Cellars in the valley, Larry is actually trying to figure a way to ship that bottle of California wine to me in Tennessee (in a case). Since it is supposedly illegal for him to ship it to Tennessee (the home of Jack Daniels), he finally figured he could ship it to our daughter in Mississippi (legal). The wine found its way east, then home, and all I have to show for it now is this pic of Larry and an empty bottle. My suggestion for man of the year....Larry the Wine Guy!

Is that natural lighting or did you use a fill? I have the hardest time taking pictures of guys in hats...

Actually it was late afternoon with sun behind me. No fill flash but would have used one if it had been needed to get his face, which I think is one of the great features of this pic. As you mentioned, it is difficult to get good pics without fill flash if there is a hat involved..... unless it is overcast and shadows are not such a factor.
