Sitting in my office with the window open, I hear a 'thumpthumpthump' coming from the south. I grab my 400D with the 300 on it, dive to the window, and 'clickclickclick'
:)
Completely random exposure settings (1/250th f/4 ISO100) so the rotors are a bit frozen :( but hey, never mind :) Cooool peice of kit.

Very cool,
But like you said a little more motion in the rotors and the shot look really washed out? Could be from the window or just a really hazy day.

It is haze, I've done my best in LR2, the window was open so its not that.

If you turn on Image Editing OK maybe others can give it a shot and see what comes from it?

I was caught out by one last summer. I nearly missed it as the sound was reverberating through the valley !!

Nice shot, Trappe - where were you? (Well, clearly on a hill, but whereabouts?)
