I have a high school senior who wants some formals in a church with a piano. So I've got a big room, glossy black piano, and black satin dress to work with.
Any suggestions on how to handle this? I have a decent strobist setup for lighting, but no large flash equipment to work with.
I've already suggested to the parents we go for a more (lo-key) "dramatic/artistic" shot rather than a full blown portrait shot, since there's no way to pull in a large bank light to really work the piano reflections and such.
Advice would be great - visual examples would be awesome!
Thanks,
