Just a few shots from this past Saturday. First time using my Feisol 3441s tripod and Markins Q3T ballhead. Not easy to do in such a crowded situation.

C&C is always welcome and appreciated.

These are really good. Looks like you had one of the good seats. We were there in March and my kids are little and don't like the noise so we tried to be on rides or in buildings when they were going off. Hope to go back to get some shots when they are older!

Thank you all for the comments.

These are really good. Looks like you had one of the good seats. We were there in March and my kids are little and don't like the noise so we tried to be on rides or in buildings when they were going off. Hope to go back to get some shots when they are older! We went with some friends a few months ago where their son wasn't too happy about the noise from Fantasmic, so I understand.

We had a decent view, but would have been better off a little further back on the sidewalk. I'm only 5'7" so there were plenty of taller people and kids on shoulders in front of us so I couldn't get the rest of the castle.

Here's a view zoomed out a little more:

Those heads (and their legs) did make it a little more difficult.

Great shots! I was just there on Thursday! Pretty busy from kids on break. Do tell settings please!

Thanks all.

These were all shot with a 30D and 17-55 at ISO 100, mostly 4 sec exposures, around f10 (this varried depending on what I thought was coming). The most difficult part was keeping the tripod from being too much in the way of people and seeing over their heads.

I did make some adjustments to exposure in PP, so next time I'm going to try shooting at ISO 200.

Great shots! I was just there on Thursday! Pretty busy from kids on break. Do tell settings please! We almost went on Thursday evening, but decided to go for most of the day on Friday instead. It was definitely busy. Now that Spring Break is over, it shouldn't be as bad until summer.

Thanks again for all the comments. Makes me want to go out and shoot some more.

i have a deluxe pass.. i never stay for the fireworksThe fireworks are one of the main reasons we go. We've spent more time at Disneyland after dark than during the daytime.
