Hey Guys, New Here

Hey Guys, My names Kyle, I have been actively involved in photography for about 4 years now and am trying to make the transition from into the professional world.

I just recently purchased a Canon 40D with a 17-85 EF-S lens.

This is my first DSLR coming from a Canon AE-1 Program.

Just wanted to know what you guys thought of some of my work.

Hey! Welcome:) I just joined as well and am loving it:)

So I checked it out.. here are my thoughts

1) Is that you in the first 3 pics?
2) The pic I like the best is the holding hands pic...I would like to see maybe a stronger B&W conversion or actually depending on the colors in the original, color edit.
3) some good candid shots
4) The 'landscape' shot with graffiti I am on the fence about It could be cool with the right edit...right now the over all contrast and color is not strong enough.
5) I might like the police one with a different crop and stronger B&W.


okay so overall a good start! try posting up some individual pics you have questions about and you will get some more responses. Embed the picture instead of a link..it makes it easier on people. Oh and don't get mad if you get like 50 million views and 2 replies...I know its annoying but I guess some people would rather just look than add there two cents.:) Not me!! haha

And no that is not me in the first three just one of my friends at Norms at 3 in the morning.
All of the photos are straight from the camera no post work because right now I don't have the right computer to be able to do any post work.
