Naked Cowboy is a New York City icon.. Saw a speacial on him awhile back he makes something like $100,000 a year by "performing" on the streets of NYC

LOL I heard about him but never seen him the two times I've been in NYC, of course I was there YEARS ago (-97). Looks like an interesting fella.

Marie, I have never seen him nor heard of him before my trip. Here in Mexico we don't know him.

I've met him too couple of years ago - had a D60 with Sigma 14mm on hand and suddenly the guy ran next to me and a TV crew jumped in, so I took a few shots (f3.5 ISO 1000), they weren't of stellar technical quality but at least the moment was captured...

I agree that he packed on a few pounds, he must have slept a lot during winter. Fer, how was your NYC trip? I forgot to mention that B&H is closed during Saturdays, I hope you went there on a Sunday.....

Yeah, I've been to New York many time in 2003-2004, and I've seen him two or three times in Times Square. Got a photo of him somewhere. He is an icon and I've even seen him on MTV.
