I like the concept of the 2nd one better than the first.

Couple of things;

I can see something that looks a lot like bird dropping on the headstone on #1. It's a massive distraction. I'm not sure on the legalities/appropriateness of cleaning up headstones for a photo op, but it's something to consider in the future if you're back there sometime.

I think both would benefit from sunlight on the front of the headstones (rather that behind right in #1 and LHS in #2). This is obviously something you can change only by re-visting at a different time of day.

As a personal preference, I would have possibly got lower and closer to the subject headstone in #1, and narrowed the DOF a bit. The angle is kind of "snapshot-like"....which isn't necessarily bad, but something I'd try to avoid.

Again...I like #2 better than #1. I think a re-shoot at a different time of day to front-light the headstones (and possible a slightly tighter framing) would really turn out well.
