Pocket Wizard-Mixing Old with New

OK guys and gals... I have the older set of Pocket Wizard transmitter and Receiver. Are these compatible with the newer units. I would really like to just be able to purchase an additional receiver or two. Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Basically, yes.

Although the newer units have additional features, they only support two channels (programed into the unit at a time) on each unit, unlike previous PW's.

If it were me, instead of purchasing an additional receiver, I'd get the new Mini transmitter.
