View Full Version : Ahh..when the light comes together (Columbus, OH)

On my way home today, I saw the clouds pushing away and knew the light would be great in about 15 minutes...so I waited...and waited....and then it came. Stormclouds in the back, bright late afternoon sunshine for light = beautiful light for photos. Surprisingly little done in post...just some curves adjustment and such. All except the wide shot with the 70-200 f/4L IS...the wide with the 17-40L, all on the 1Ds II.

Yessir. Those are spectacular! Cbus shines. Wierd day yesterday, wasn't it?! I'm up between Akron & Cleveland. Was really surprised to see the sun peek out a couple of times yesterday.

Thanks for sharing those photos. Love 'em! They look like the kind you put into PP and almost NOTHING changes!

nicely done,these are beautiful. love the dramatic storm clouds in the background, you have done a great job.

I like #4 the most because of how the shadow is starting to creep back over the red building
