Went out to the Living Desert Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Palm Springs, CA yesterday, and I saw a species of cat I'd never heard of before...the sand cat. Mind you, these are supposed to be wild cats, but they looked more sleepy than wild. :)

(the green blur here was a leaf that was sort of in the way...it was either this or no pic...I opted for the pic) Also, both of these are of the cat in its enclosure, and if you look carefully at the yawning cat, you can see the blur from the mesh.
