These pictures were also from my trip to the Living Desert Zoo & Botanical Garden in Palm Springs, CA.

There were lots of hummingbirds flitting about, seeking nectar, and fighting for territory (they are fierce little birds...) Anyway, these are some of the first pictures I've ever tried taking of them, and I'm curious as to what everyone thinks of them...

wow wicked pics, I really like em. I was wondering what kind of shutter speed do you need for that?

1/400, 1/400, 1/500, repsectively. I think I had the camera in P-mode at the time. They were shot several hours apart at different locations in the park. The one with the yellow flower was shot later in the day, just before 4:30pm. I had the ISO set to 200 because it was getting into the afternoon.
