Went to take some pics at one of the company's owners daughter's 15 th B-day.
A sweet girl. Took sundry shots, where the 20D showed it's excellence in focusing & measuring in near dark conditions. I'll show you some more, but here is the girl of the day.

I sure did...that pic was taken in a dark environment outdoors, with the onboard flash !!

The darkness in the shot at the top and bottom is annoying as if the flash didn' t put out light to cover your subject area.

You were absolutely right, about the light, and on second thought I didn't l;ike thr crop work...so I darkened the Bg, instead.
Do you like it better, now?

Ok I will be the one to go against the pro's here. I dont get it at all.

I dont like it. It looks like a hasty shot that anyone with a point and shoot can capture.
I understand for onboard flash thats pretty darn good with light distribution. But Im wondering why possibly the most famous photographer on these boards posted this??

Too funny. It may be a "snapshot" to you. To me, it's one of the most encouraging posts I've encountered on POTN. Perhaps I can be a photographer some day. :)
