Well, it's time to let go of my project that I have been working on for some time now. My 65' VW Low&Slow Special! I still had so much planned for this little guy. Not the greatest location for the shoot (Quick shots sitting in front of the casa!) but I figured I would share my little patina finished ground scraper with you all!

A 1965 Air conditioning unit! haha it's a thermador. you fill it with distilled water and inside there is a sponge that sits in it. you can pull the string and it pulls the sponge up and locks it into place. the Air funnels through the front when driving and blows through the sponge. Kind of a early swamp cooler for your car!

I have a real soft spot for the old Bug. It was my fist car. And what a great one it was. I put over 150,000 miles on the little guy and it had over 100,000 when i bought it. :)

I feel your pain. I let go of my '67 squareback (which I loved dearly, but had some real issues) a few years ago when it was clearly not going to rise to the top of the hobby pile anytime soon. What a fun car to drive (though being in Washington, I didn't need the cooler).

Cool. I had a '58 Ghia that was fun for a while.
