This weekend, a few friends and I decided to make the trip downtown (Detroit) to the Michigan Central Station. This place is quite an amazing site, and has a ton of history. Since they began to talk about demolishing the building, we decided to take a photo op before it no longer exists. The bridge shot is the Ambassador Bridge going to Canda.
I appreciate feedback, so lemme know what you think. I'm trying to grow as a photographer, so any pointers or praises are helpful. Shots were taken with Canon 40D, Tonkina 11-16, Canon 50 1.8 and 28-135 IS.

mods - you can delete the post in the nature section. I assume this is a better venue for these type of shots.

I like your shots, especially the in-focus broken glass. Where were you when you got the shot of the train tracks? I thought I knew all the angles - but that is a new one.

Overall, I think it's a nice series with a nice look to the processing. Like the texture formed by the debris in no. 6.
I lived near detroit for 3 years and think I know where that place is.

Hahaha, the link is actually my friend Matt. I was down there with him and a few others...didn't know he was on this site ; )
The train track shot is on the Bridge side of the building in the SW corner (if my nav skills are on point)

Haha, we didn't go near the razor wire. You need a flashlight to get in.
Thanks a lot to everyone else who has complimented the shots, I'm glad you guys like them. I wish it were nicer here today so I could go out and gtet some "Earth Day" shots.

Nice job my friend, this is an awesome series. I particularly like #5, at first glance it looked like there was a sniper camped there.

The first photo is an absolute keeper in my eyes, where did you take it from? That shot has so much of my families history it just blows me away. They are all good shots but that one I want on my wall. I PMed you.
