#2 and #3 are very nice, the side of #3 is pretty blown out though which may bother some.

#1 either needs a new background or remove the PP done with the white brush.

#2 rocks.

#1 - The wheels show some major lack of contrast from an overdone boost in the shadows.

The reflection on the side in #3 kills the shot, especially with the dark shadows across the front of the car.

There seem to be some color issues between one and three.

The white brush was graffiti on the wall not added in PP.

These are interesting shots. I'm a bit concerned with your © banner. If someone wanted to contact you based on these, they would probably have a problem reading who you are?

#2 is fantastic! That's a great shot with good contrast, a neutral background, and excellent lighting.

#1 doesn't do much for me. As I always tell you, it's a great looking car but the background distracts, I think. Lots of reflections, too, which muddle the shape of the car. Some people like reflections, though...

#3 is pretty good. I like the water reflecting the car but you do have the side slightly blown out with the reflections. Regardless, I do like it.

You're getting better, in my opinion, for what it's worth. Good job!

Agree Frank I have not been that happy with my "tag" for awhile and would like to do something new just haven't had any good ideas for one.

Totally agree with what you guys are saying on these shots. When I was taking them I saw the problems and had a hard time positioning the car in a way that would keep the reflections to a minimum. Also the reflection shout was tough as I adjusted the CPL so that the reflection in the water would stand out, which thus added the terrible reflection in the side of the car. I should have tried to PP the reflections out of the side, or used 2 different exposures for the final product.

Thanks very very much for the kind words, I am working very hard, reading more and more, and constantly working on my PP skills.

HAHA Not an airman, Musician First Class (E6) I am a member of the US Navy Band In DC, we perform at the White House CNO's quarters and at many other high level events in the area.

Believe me my Military pay doesn't cover the car LOL. I hustle my A$$ off, I sell wheels online for Modular Concept Wheels, I shoot features for Corvette Enthusiast Magazine, I do photo shoots in my area, as well as sell prints online.

My Z06 was featured in two magazines, and once they hit shelves I put the car on Ebay. I made a considerable amount of money on the car, and went and bought the Viper.

It's been an interesting ride so far :) I love photography and want to do this full time, so I am working my tail off to get better everyday.

Funny you mention that about #1 Actually the whole right side of the car was in deep shadows as it came off of the camera. I did not boost the shadows at all. I did add a curves adjustment layer, actually three separate ones to try and even out the light on the car, as I liked other parts of the shot. I lightened up the rear wheel as much as I could before it got to fake looking. Unfortunately I should have positioned the car differently I feel to get better light on the car.

The wheels look photoshopped on in the first picture. The rest of the picture looks fine but it's like you selected the wheels and upped the brightness on them like crazy. Otherwise, nice shots of some sick cars!

They were bumped but not much. The poor lighting on the location didn't help my attempt to get that shot. I will keep that in mind next time!

Thanks:)
