we could see it, sorry does nothing for me. A tripod is not the most interesting exciting subject out there and a fence? good snapshots. What are you trying to convey? You have to get used to it. When no one comments it usually means the pic is mundane. Dont push it. practice makes perfect, Dont be like monkey wrench. He's just a nerd

Just some random shots...no real point, just thought I could find some interesting points with something so simple as a fence or a light or a tripod. IMO it makes it more interesting because it IS so simple.
I guess it's a matter of opinion in which you're entitled to :) .
I still need to take some new "art" pictures when I get my 300d.

well thats how everyone is when they first get into photography, they think their first pics are the best but then down the road you realize how much more you got better. Its a learning experience, Even the pro's learn something new everyday. Keep shooting

The tripod looks like a monochrome except for the spirit level, I like that.

The fence shot is cool, the tripod I'm not too sure about. Kinda boring...Would liek to see some more pics from you though.

The fence shows some real interest. I am not as drawn to the tripod. The image is simple, but IMO a picture should either convey a moment in time, a feeling, or simply make your eye want to move around the image. If I read correctly, you got the fence with a P+S. That was more than pointing and shooting!

Good photo, that first one.
Maybe a bit less of the sky would be better but it is a good shot and by all means, much better than many I took.
Don't mind any comment that tells you otherwise, if it is just made in a rude manner.
I still need to understand why some people find plain rudeness funny.
Keep shooting and posting, please.

I think photography is art not everyone likes all kinds of art but there are some that will love it. keep on shooting and you will love your 300D :)

Thanks guys for the comments; to each their own. I should be taking some pics with the 300d since the weather is great now; these are just some of my better pics with my P&S and I am new to the site so I figured I would post some up.
Tripod one is kind of lame but I liked it, it's very simple and yes I was bored LOL.
