Some more Aviation from Thunder Over Louisville. Some have been previously posted, but now, I have done NR, Sharpening, & Adjustments to them. C&C please. I'm still playing with the watermark. Input would be appreciated on the watermark too.

Good shots in typical "Michigan Sunshine". ;) the watermark
1. It's not a declaration of copyright without ©.
2. I think the "P" in photos should be a cap, & not running into the "h".
3. Vertical type is cute, & tough to get the spacing right, but it can be done. You need to work on that. IMO, for me, it's more trouble than it's worth.

Frank,

Thanks for the input. I had the copyright c, but then it disappeared, when I did something in photoshop. I'm still working on it. I just noticed the p & h right as I was posting the images.

The AC-130 now looks fuzzy, wasn't it sharp before?
I'm not a fan of the font or position of the name (except for the one in the building where it fits nicely)

nice! wish an AC-130 would come give us a demo (is it any different to a standard C-130 demo?)

Arrrrgggghhhhhhh!!!!

Why can't we have Apache demos out here in the West? I built the things and I've never seen them fly, other than a normal landing and takeoff, much less get pictures.

Sorry Mr. Wright. I can't help ya on the Demo's. When I talk to the pilots, I will see, if they can make a special flight to San Diego, and do a show just for you.:cool::cool:

Luckily for me, we have Fort Knox, all of 40 minutes down the road, and there are a crap-load of Helicopter Squadrons there on a rotating basis. I've seen the Apache, Blackhawks (or if your military: crashhawks), Chinooks, Cobra's, Huey's, Kiowa's, & a few others, through the years, b/c of the proximity of Ft. Knox.

Not really, except, that you get to see a 20mm, 40mm, & 105mm sticking out of the port side of the bird. If it was doing a live fire demo, then I would be talking about it Bringing the Rain or Hell on Earth, depending on which side of the battle your on. :D

I have some up close & personal shots of the AC-130. I'm still working through everything, so I will either post em here, or when I'm done processing, I will post everything to my website. It has some beautiful body art. ;)

So they dont do the tight turning when the "Bring the Rain"

Have to admit one year we had a spectre land at RAF Lyneham, i was about 10 / 12 at the time, My father came home early from work on a saturday all excited, woke me up and said come to work with me a very special aircraft has come in... little did i know i was about to get a guided tour of a spectre gunship.... inside and out.... happy days!

They do the very tight turns, for when they "Bring the Rain", however, there was not a need, nor was there the space, for doing the tight banking turns within the show box for Thunder. Unless your in the Military or have been around Aviation for quite awhile, IMO, your more than likely, not going to really know what the AC-130, can & cannot do, unless you watch the Military Channel :D:D:D

Been into aviation from a very very young age, father was in the RAF for 27 years, my grandfather was in the army as a chef, my uncle was a para, my other grand father served too, a family friend of mine was a royal marine he has returned as a armorer, his son was a royal marine until he got knocked off his bike by a jeep with bull bars :(
