I've noticed this sound when the lense is extracting from the camera body (when I turn the camera on). The sound is made by the lens hanging a little before the motor pulls the lens out of the body.
When I investigated this, I found that it is a small play in the lens when it is folded (but not when it is extracted). When I center this play with a loosely touch, the sound dissaperars when extracting the lense (it does not hang anymore). This is not dramatic, but my worry is that this will strain the zoom motor over time.
I write this here to see if there are more A95 users who can find this on their cameras. If this seems to be a spesific problem on my camera, I will turn it in for a check.
