Roy,
The picture is very dark (lol). I can hardly see the outlines of the buildings. The picture seems to be out of fous. Did you sharpen? Any reason why you printed this in B&W? I also think you should not place any technical info in the frame, but that's just personal.
Keep shootin'

I really liked this shot (I like night shots as well as B&W city scapes) I took the liberty of enhencing the shot a little here (http://www.pbase.com/image/10831461/original). As an advice for the future try taking the shot during th e blue hour, this way you get the feel of night with more detail in the shot and shorter expouser time so the lights do not become overblown.

This is a terrific shot:
1: The left to right diagonal of the street lights and traffic that draw you up and across the scene.
2: The way the buildings repeat and strengthen that same line.
2: The largest building positionned over the golden mean.
3: But the KO is the illumination that just so lightly brushs the top of the building. A stroke of great timing and observation as it clinches the sci-fi feel and mood.
Gotham City here I come (appologies to Kansas).
