Here is a photo that I took of a waterfall in Wales at the beginning of the year.

Really nice shot. I like the softness of the actual waterfall itself. My only suggestion would be to crop out the trees in the upper left hand side and it will be perfect.

im new to this but maybe turn the contrast down, the plants all don't seem natural

I think the lighting and exposure and color balance are right on. There is always a lot of subjective discussion on shutter speed for moving water, but that falls into the category of artistic license. I happen to be one of those who more often than not prefers the motion to be frozen.
Techically, very, very good!

I don't like the saturation and vibrancy colours, and the background plants seem overly soft. Having done such a conversion myself, I know I prefer it in greyscale (you need careful channel mixing to get an optimal result, not simple "desaturation"). Cheers, Tony

Thanks for all the comments, I think that with this type of shot it seems to be very much personal preference for how the photograph should be developed.
