Shot under intense sunlight but this particular leef was under some shade.

70-200 F4L ; Raw; Iso 100 ; f4; 1/800
In photoshop corrected exposure to my taste, did some color burning, Levels and Curves adjustments.

Any comment will be much apreciated.

Looks like a macro shot with that telephoto.
Did you do some serious cropping or did you use an extension tube?

Hello RAitch,
Neither actualy, I do not have extension tubes and the only "cropping" done was for printing at A4. ;)

Focal Lenght was 200 mm and I forgot to say the camera is the 300D.

Very nice!!! I like it... I have the same set up... I try for Macro looking shots with my 200mm. I can't afford a real macro lens...

Cheers

Thank you Caitlyn, glad you liked it.

Even with a Macro lens I couldn't get that photo, as it was at 200mm.

Maybe some day I'll try the Canon 100 mm Macro. I have seen some nice shots with it.

After just a day with the 70-200 f/4L I am considering retiring the 100mm 2.8.

Really?
I'm glad you said so. I thought the 100mm 2.8 was a great performer for portrait and macro work.
I'll have to look into this.

But hey, congratulations on your new acquisition. From my experience, you will be smashed by the the 70-200 f4L performance outdoors.

And indoors with good light, it is also a treat.

Thanks for leting me know your opinion, Ian.
