With the state of the US, I dont think I would have the stones to photograph passenger aircraft. Nice photos though, what lens (work computer, no EXIF reader)?

Where did you take these from? Also camera info.

Love the CAL777 shot! My dad is based out of EWR on the 75/6.

Do you have any more pictures?

Thanks for the comments. Here's the EXIF:

Air India - Rebel XT, 28-135 @ 65mm, 1/500, F9.0, ISO 200
Continental - Rebel XT, 28-135 @ 130mm, 1/500, F9.0, ISO 200

I didn't take a lot of photos since it was mostly cloudy, but here is one more of the CAL777 and one of a CAL737 on approach. The arrival shots were taken from a street in Newark. The departure shots were taken from a shopping center across the highway from the airport.

Thanks, I went out specifically to photograph that plane. I am a fan of 747's, maybe because Newark-Liberty does not get as much 747 traffic as JFK does.

Hilarious. I was laid off and started shooting aviation pics for fun; usually with $10k worth of gear in my bag. You must be one of the people calling TSA on me at DTW...terrorists would probably try to hide their presence, they don't stand around in plain view.

BTW - I doubt Osama buys L lenses.
