Here is a shot I took from a recent Womans Bundesliga football ( Soccer :wink: ) . . It was a great goal but as you can see my position wasn't too good to get " the shot " ie goalie diving and watching the ball..

If that wasn't bad enough, look at the two guys in the background, so call shooters, and what are they doing.....watching the action!!! Guys those things in your hands are cameras....not enterance tickets!!

I am normally a calm person, but, but....this made me un-calm....

Great shot, nonetheless. Heck, if you really look, the only reason the guy on the left is not shooting is because the girl behind him is gnawing on his head---I wouldn't be shooting, either!

This happened to me last week at the Chicago Fire game. I'm the only photographer to the left of the goal & the exact same thing happened. Goalie with a diving save, & I just hear all the groans from the photographers on the other end of the post complaining because they missed it.

It was a cross into the box people! Pay attention!

LOL... this happens alot, I've seen my fair share of it, I like what you said though, "Those things in your hands are cameras, not entrance tickets.

Getting clean backgrounds in sports photos is always tough, otherwise a good footy photo. I've been trying to get something similar at my son's games for years and still haven't managed it!
