Bad time to shoot, right in the bright sunlight http://www.photography-on-the.net/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif I really like the bud in the upper left corner though. Comments welcome.

Thanks for enjoying it. Tripod, Arca-Swiss ball head, 10D, EF 100mm 2.8 Macro lens, TC-80N3 remote release cable was what I used for this time to the dahlia fields. For an inexpensive lens ($400+-, I would love to have the EF 180mm, but that is LOTS of money :cry: ) it takes wonderful photos.

Stop worrying, that is a fantastic shot, i hope i can get a shot like that in bright sunlight.........;)

now that is one pretty Dahlia. We have 12 new ones this season, and they are looking good so far, no buds as yet. Nicely captured to. congrats
