Test between Pics

I have been on POTN for several months, and I still can't figure out how people space pictures, and also I don't know how to put text between pictures. My pics always end up jammed together on on top of the other.
Help.

Most of them a that have text or spaces between images are embedded rather than attached. That way they can post 8 images per thread rather than the 2 attached images allowed.

I will post pics from my Imageshack (http://www.imageshack.us) account on here. I will click on the picture and hit "end" on the keyboard and hit "enter" a couple of times. That double spaces between the images. If you want to add text, just click where you want the cursor and voila, you have spaces and text. Hope this helps.

If you're using attachments which you upload to POTN, one of the Image Posting FAQ linked in my sig. deals with managing attachments. Early in that thread is an explanation of how to put your attachments in-line in your post rather than nested at the bottom of the post in a separate box.

OK, I am going to try this by linking a photo from my filckr.

Hmmmm............all I see is little boxes with and X in the middle. Looks like I still don't quite have it down.

I think the problem is the name I am putting between the 2 [img] brackets.

OK, now that I see how to get a pointer to a picture in another site, can someone tell me how I could have made this picture larger on the screen. If you are showing off a pic, you might want a closer view.:cool:

In flicker you can choose how you want to view the image (small, medium, large, or original) it gives you pixel dimensions. Link to the appropriate image (remember 1024 is the max size here)

I did something wrong with the previous try. I must have typed the link wrong.

Nope..........still didn't work.
And I am linking to the 1024 x 683. Oh, I think I now know what I did wrong.
